My name is Rebecca. Some people call me Becky. Here‘s a couple things about that. I am not in no way shape or form trying to steal anyone‘s man. I most assured do not have the big booty. I dang sure don’t have the good hair.

Now, with all that said Welcome to my blog! I am so happy to have you here. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a 38 yr old mother of 4 kids. Those babies are my whole wide world! I homeschool my oldest 2. My youngest daughter is a drowning survivor.(More on that story later.) She is perfect. There is no damage or issues at all.

I however suffer from PTSD and severe anxiety. That’s where my farm comes into play. The mismatch group of animals I have here are apart of my therapy. I have found peace, patience, and understanding with them all. They have helped me move forward in leaps and bounds. One animal who has helped in particular is my drum horse Leo. I can’t even begin to describe what this big guy means to me.

He is a really big part of my recovery. I say recovery because PTSD, it may always be there. I however hope and pray to beat it. Until then, we will take it one day at a time.

My farm is literally a little of this and a little of that. I have 3 dogs(a boxer, a Great Pyrenees, and a Texas Heeler) 2 horses, a mini donkey, 2 goats(one with three legs), 2 flemish giant rabbits, a mess of chickens, and soon to be a sheep! You literally never know what’s gonna pop up next with me.

I absolutely love this life I live. I wouldn’t trade it for nothing.

I am from Southeastern Georgia. I was born and raised here. I am a 38 year old stay at home mom and wife. My passions are my farm, my animals, and my kids. I have a small group of friends who are absolutely my family, and mean the world to me. I love life, but sometimes it scares me. I am so blessed to have my family and friends who support me and lift me up whenever I need it.They are also a big part of my recovery.

I am married to my husband Jimmy going on 17 maybe 18 years. I know I should do better. We have been through the good, the bad, and the ugly. It is funny how life changes. It’s just how the song says. Now after many many years, and many many struggles, he is helping me chase my dreams. Honestly I am chasing purpose. There is something else there for me. Just out of reach. I just don’t know what. I do know, I’m so so close. I feel like my little farm is intertwined with my purpose. I also believe with pain comes purpose. It never makes any sense at the time, but in time it always does. Another thing about me is,I am a Christian. Not a perfect one. I do believe in Jesus. I however do not cast judgement nor do I condone it. I don’t care who you are, what you believe, or how you identify, you are welcome here. Everyone deserves love. You will find no judgement here. I will not push my beliefs onto you either. I enjoy your company and that is enough for me. Well my how time flies when your in such good company. I do greatly appreciate your time. I hope this gives you some insight as to who I am. I truly look forward to sharing my journey with you. The good, the bad, the ugly, and the in between. This is what I consider, taking a stab at writing. I do hope you enjoy my blog. Maybe, just maybe you will come back and visit for some more content! Have an absolutely wonderful day. I do love you, just in case nobody told you today. Until next time!

Beck
